Dear Sangha,

Please join us on December 7 when two of our sangha members will receive precepts. The jukai (precepts) ceremony runs from 10am to noon and be followed by a celebratory lunch.

We’ll continue the day with Rohatsu practice (commemorating Shakyamuni Buddha’s Awakening) from 2-8pm. After an evening snack, participants have the option to continue sitting through the night.

You’re welcome to attend all or part of the day. Suggested dana for the afternoon/evening Rohatsu practice is $25.
